    Training

    The CETL provides training to faculty wishing to learn how to teach online.  Training and course development takes time and needs to begin far in advance of the start of the online course. 

      

    • DECDI stands for Distance Education Course Development Institute, which is a week long training typically offered in thesummer.   
    • Distance Education Instructor Certification Course 
      • This 6 week online course provides instructors training on how to design and develop an online course. Instructorswill receive SFU certification to teach online after completion of the course.The course will be offered each semester to a cohort of 10-15. Please contact the CETL for more information or registration.
